Today the Congress of South African Trade Unions met with the premier of the Western Cape Helen Zille as well as business unity in the Western Cape to discuss the issue of equity in the premier’s cabinet as well as the global economic recession.
Cosatu’s secretary general in the Western Cape Tony Ehrenreich says the premier seems to be stuck on the questions of the statements made by Umkhonto Wesizwe Military Veterans during the march.
“This is a time where leadership and statesmanship is required but the premier failed to show that."

Ehrenreich says will continue to work with her and hope that she realizes the incredible responsibility laid on her shoulders by the people of the Western Cape as premier.
