Crew fix bust water mine in Fishhoek

The city of Cape Town has fixed a burst water mine in Hurling Street Fishhoek area. Farouk Robertson from the City’s Water and Sanitation Departmen said the crew began yesterday early morning.

The burst pipe line start at the Brackloof Reservoir and it feeds the areas of Kommetjie, Masiphumelele, Ocean View and Swarbury. Robertson urged residents in these areas must use water very sparingly.

The residents can only use water for emergency purposes. The fixing took six hours.
