Four men have been arrested for murder, this after intensive investigations by Stellenbosh Police as well as a member of the Organised Crime Unit.
Police spokesperson Captain Rene Matthee says that while the men were arrested in Eerste River last night, they are being detained at Bellville South Police Station.
“Four men have been arrested, regarding the murder of Klaas Jonkheid. There ages are; 22, 22 23 and 24-years old,” said Matthee.
According to police, a battery and spare wheel of the burnt out Toyota Yaris that was used by the deceased was found yesterday. The deceased’s cell phone was found with the suspects and was seized by the Police.
