Traffic authorities in KwaZulu-Natal have pulled a bus belonging to SA Roadlink off the road when it was found to be displaying a photocopied permit disc.
The same bus was also found to be unroadworthy on the sixth of this month.
A spokesperson says the bus was transporting 64 passengers on the N3near Howick when it was stopped.
Authorities say they are determined to ensure that all buses are roadworthy and SA Roadlink is not being specifically targeted.
SA Roadlink has denied that the bus was displaying an illegal permit disc or that it had been pulled off the road.
A company spokesperson says the vehicle developed a minor problem and was parked on the side of the road when traffic police approached.
