Two suspects are expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court today on charges of abduction.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Venters says three unidentified males confronted and forced a forty year male into a vehicle, while he was standing in front of Grand Central Flats in Main Road, Wynberg.
“His abductors took him to a nearby street in Ebor Road, Wynberg where they put him into a man-hole in the back of the yard and a couch placed on top of it," Venters says.
Venters says after four hours in the man-hole Wynberg police was alarmed and they rescued the forty year old man from his abductors.
Police arrested two male suspects for abduction and attempted murder.
He added that it is alleged that the premises belongs to a well known drug dealer.
