The National Press Club has called on government spokesperson Jimmy Manyi to break his silence following his remarks that there is an oversupply of coloureds in the Western Cape.
Press Club chairperson Yusuf Abramjee says a good communicator is someone who does not keep quiet or who avoids questions.
He says the right thing for Manyi to do is to face the media and say what he actually means.
Abramjee says Manyi’s silence is not a good reflection on him or the government.
