Convicted fraudster Schabir Shaik will face the parole board after his alleged assault of a reporter on the golf course.
Correctional Services spokesman Sonwabo Mbananga says Shaik will appear before the board in the next two weeks after a criminal charge was laid by the reporter, Amanda Khoza.
Khoza also laid a complaint with Correctional Services.
Shaik allegedly slapped Khoza several times when she found him at a golf course in Durban.
Shaik was released on parole on the grounds that he was terminally ill.
