On
Wednesday, seven people were gunned down in NY79, Gugulethu near Cape Town. Five
people died on the scene and two others in hospital.
It is
reported that the shooting happened during a traditional ceremony. The
Gugulethu Development Forum (GDF) has called for immediate intervention by the
Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, to look into killings in the area.
The motive
for the shooting incident is not yet known. No arrests have been made at this
stage.
