Two killed in Cape Town road accident
Two people have been killed in a road accident involving a minibus taxi on the N2 highway in Cape Town this morning. Twelve other passengers were seriously injured, while eight others escaped with minor injuries. Details surrounding the incident are still unclear, but it appears as though the driver of the overloaded taxi lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn. Western Cape traffic spokesperson C.B. Carolus says no other vehicles were involved in the accident, although some of the passengers were flung across the highway barrier into the path of oncoming traffic.
