Survivors of sea drama highly traumatised
The seven survivors of the bulk carrier Alexandros T that sank in the deep sea off the coast of Port Alfred last week are too traumatised to give interviews to the media. They are being cared for in Durban while the search for their 23 missing crew mates has been called off. Experts say there is little or no hope that the missing men will be found alive. The Alexandros T began breaking up before it sank some 300 sea miles off the coast on Wednesday. It was carrying a cargo of iron ore.
