The Independent Electoral Commission has appealed to South Africans living overseas to inform the body of their aim to vote.
This follows a Constitutional Court ruling handed down yesterday allowing registered voters living overseas to vote for the national assembly in the upcoming elections.
Those citizens living abroad who are not yet registered will not be able to vote.
The IEC says it is satisfied that it will be able to manage the process. Voters who are affected by the ruling should visit the IEC website, www.elections.org .za to complete the necessary forms.
