The South African national anthem will be played in full at tonight’s Confederations Cup football match between Bafana Bafana and New Zealand and not just the first part as was the case on Sunday night at the opening game.
It is reported that the organisers of the tournament say they have received a full length version of the anthem from the South African Football Association and the tape will be played in the Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenburg tonight.
Organisers say the shortened version was played on Sunday because Fifa wanted the national anthems to be no longer than 90 seconds.
