A motor vehicle collision on Voortrekker Road near Parow High School had left one person dead last night and other four people injured.
The male driver of the vehicle was dead on arrival of emergency services and was trapped in the vehicle.
The deceased man needed to be removed from the vehicle by the Fire Department.
A lady was allegedly ejected from the vehicle and sustained moderate injuries, she was taken to Tygerberg Hospital in a stable condition.
Three other occupants sustained minor injuries and refused hospital transport.
Police were in attendance and are investigating the collision.
