The North West department of public safety has strongly condemned the attack on a farmer in Vryburg in the North West.
Two men stabbed 58-year-old John Steyn after he tried to help them with a punctured tyre.
He is seriously injured after they hit him over the head with a rock and stabbed him seven times.
North West MEC for Public Safety, Desbo Mohono, says it’s an attack on the rural economy of the province and police should leave no stone unturned in their hunt for the perpetrators.
