Cape Flats communities being ignored by national government.
Many have promised more action, more resources and vigor in the fight against gangs, drugs and criminals.
Cape Town – After all the crimes and murders that happened this past week in the cape flats, residents in Bonteheuwel, Manenberg, Hanover Park and Mitchells Plain are fed up with crime, and say their pleas to national government are just being ignored and not being focused on.
The areas in the cape flats are infested with gangs. “Our laws must change. They need to change ASAP. The Constitution must be amended to deal with the current and unprecedented high crime-levels, especially on the violent crime and the high murder rate in our country.
Many innocent and none gang related people in the communities had spoken out, led marches, protested outside Parliament and pleaded to not be ignored on the crimes happenings in the cape flats.
