Brothers held in connection with airport heist
Two Cape Town brothers have appeared in the Kempton Park magistrate’s court in connection with the armed heist at Johannesburg International Airport in March when 70-million in American banknotes was stolen. Rooshdenne Rudolf, a Cape Town attorney, was arrested on Saturday after handing himself in to police. His case has been postponed until Friday for a formal bail hearing. Beeld reports that Rudolf's brother, Shadeen Rudolf, was arrested at Club Mykonos resort near Langebaan on Monday last week and was also transferred to Johannesburg. He could not appear in court because of a heart condition. His case was heard in absentia and also postponed until Friday.
