A huge dagga raid in the Western Cape

Police have arrested three men after a dagga raid in Table View, Cape Town early on Sunday morning. According to police the raid follows a tip-off from the public and forms part of an ongoing investigations into the activities of drug syndicates in the Western Cape. Police spokesperson Captain Randall Stoffels says the suspects will appear at the Cape Town Magistrate’s court in due cause on charges of dealing in drugs. Stoffels says they discovered approximately six tons of dagga with an estimated street value of about six million rand. He says police also seized a truck during the operation.
