Government along with the people of South Africa join in with the people of the United States in expressing their warm congratulations to Barack Obama, for becoming America’s first African-American President.
Ronnie Mamoepa said that the people express great hope that poverty and underdevelopment in Africa will still receive attention of the focus of the new administration. “We hope that poverty and underdevelopment in Africa, which remains a challenge for humanity, will indeed continue to receive great attention of the new administration.”
Mamoepa also said that government is looking forward to working with President Obama and that he hopes that the relationship between our two countries strengthens.
