13 people have been arrested in Atlantis for various offences during a clean up operation by Metro police officers in the area on Wenesday.
According to Deputy Chief Yolanda Faro, the area became volatile after the shooting of gang member Andrew Lloyd.
Police were informed that there might be retaliation by rival gangs.
Five people were arrested for possession of drugs .
In Mamre, eight people were arrested for riotous behaviour when the metro police conducted a stop and search operation.
Two of the suspects were also charged with possession of narcotics.
One person was also arrested for drunk driving.
