The South African Medical Association says some doctors have not been paid the once off occupational specific dispensation gratuity payment months after they were supposed to have received it.

Sama calls in a statement on the Department of Health to uniformly and appropriately implement the OSD as agreed.

Health Department spokesperson Fidel Hadebe told the media it was possible that some doctors had not been paid because they had not submitted their personal details.
