Police arrested close to 756 people and recovered various stolen goods in a crime prevention blitz across the province this weekend.
The crack down was part of a three day operation that took place in several of the province’s 24 police clusters, including Claremont, Cape Town, Wynberg, Nyanga and as far as Worcester, Oudtshoorn and George.
Police spokesperson Inspector November Filander said roadblocks yielded R216 000 in traffic fines for various offences
