The bodies of an adult male and a boy were found in an informal structure that was found gutted in NY61, Gugulethu, on Wednesday morning
In total, four informal structures were
destroyed in a fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
‘’The City’s Fire and Rescue Service received
the emergency call at 07:33. When firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire
in Phola Park they found several informal structures alight but managed to
contain and extinguish the blaze by 08:31.’’
The scene was handed over to the South African
Police Service for further investigations
