3 women shot and killed in Khayelitsha
Western Cape police have launched its 72-hour activation plan after three young women were shot and killed in Khayelitsha, on Monday.
Residents at the TT Block informal settlement claim they
heard gunshots just after 20:00
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
‘’A few minutes later the bodies of young women aged 17, 20
and 21 were discovered in a passage between the shacks. The victims had all
been shot in their heads,’’ said the police’s Novela Potelwa.
