Two killed in Mitchell's Plain

Mitchell’s Plain police are investigating a double murder in which a 7-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot dead in Eastridge, on Tuesday evening.

The police’s FC van Wyk said the motive for the attack is unknown.

‘’According to a police statement, the incident took place at around 19:25 in Kameel Street, Eastridge, Mitchells Plain. The motive for the incident is not known,’’ said Captain F.C van Wyk.

 ‘’According to the police, the attackers fled the scene and are still at large. As of late Tuesday evening, the identity of the boy and man had not yet been confirmed,’’ he added.
