Eskom denies any claims of more load – shedding made earlier today. IOL reported that load – shedding is expected to hit the Western Cape early next week as workers at Koeberg are trying to get the two rotors up and running. Trish da Silva Regional Secretary at Eskom says that they are not expecting any large amounts of load shedding anytime next week, but energy users are still encouraged to use electricity responsibility especially during peak hours. Eskom says that they would like to commend consumers as the PowerAlert programme had been well supported.
