Jacob Zuma in court again

The Supreme Court of Appeal has confirmed that it will hear an appeal on the 28th of this month of a ruling that threw out corruption charges against ANC president Jacob Zuma.

The ruling by Judge Chris Nicholson led to the removal of former president Thabo Mbeki, who had been accused of meddling in the case.

That Friday is the last day of the court's current term. It is reported that the judges are prepared to sit on the Saturday as well if necessary.

National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Tlali Tlali says they welcome the opportunity to have the issue finalised
