The African Christian Democratic party says, yesterday mark an important day in the history of South Africa where multi party democracy will prevail in South Africa.

ACDP leader Kenneth Moshoe says the formation of this new political party will change the landscape of South African history as well as politics and that this new party will be a force to be reckon with.

The Democratic Alliance has also welcomed the formation of a new party saying this new party will give people an alternative from the ANC.

D.A Sandra Botha says this is an answer to a need that has existed for sometime now and also the fact that opposition parties were there to show support. She added that the new political party would open some space in South African politics.

Meanwhile Independent Democrats say that it is not easy to start a political party but we have to wait and see what happens on the 16 of December when the new political party is launched.

De Lille says what we need to see now is the leaders of this political party and the policies as well as the principles and we will see who is going to come out on the 16 of December.
