Yesterday on the early hours of the day a group of eight hikers were rescued from Table Mountain after one of them was too tired to continue with hiking and also the rain made it too diffcult.
Realising they would not be able to continue with hiking they called Hugo Vaughan from Wilderness Search and Rescue who came to their rescue.
Vaughan said, "fortunately the party stayed together we airlifted two hikers no one was injured except on who was tired"
Vaughan said that the team member who was tired was unfit.
The hikers whose ages range from 21 to 26 are said to be very inexperienced hikes and Vaughan said they did a good job by sticking together.
