Western Cape Premier Helen Zille and finance MEC Alan Winde are on a fact-finding mission to Namibia to investigate a model for the regulation of liquor outlets.

The delegation will tap the knowledge of the Namibian Self-Regulating Alcohol Industry Forum.

Zille believes that stakeholders they will meet in Khomas will have valuable insights, due to the similarities in social conditions between the region and the Western Cape.

The province is developing a liquor regulation model aimed at tackling alcohol-related challenges.
