Man arrested for drug worth R4.5 million

Cape town man arrested after drugs with a street value of more than R4.5 million was found.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officers Joseph Swartbooi said he was taken into custody yesterday after police received a tip-off that drugs were being transported from a property in Sanddrift.

The found an assortment of drugs packed in bags. The suspect is expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court once charged, he will face charges of dealing in drugs.
