Manenberg boy dies after being caught in crossfire

Manenberg detectives are probing the death of a 10-year-old boy following a shooting incident on Friday morning in Tambo Village, Gugulethu.

It is reported that five unknown suspects fired randomly at each other and that the victim was caught in the crossfire of these rival gangs.

The boy was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

‘’If you can shed any light in the matter, or know who the perpetrators are, kindly contact Crime Stop on 08600 10 111. Your identity will be protected,’’ SAPS said in a statement.
