The investigation by the City of Cape Town, into the number of fires that occurred at the beginning of the year across the peninsula, is still continuing.
“The initial investigation has been expanded to include all fires in the peninsula since the start of the year. This has resulted in the investigation taking longer than anticipated,” said the City of Cape Town’s Kylie Hatton
“The City will report back to residents on the outcome of the investigation as soon as it has been concluded,” said Hatton
