A girl around the age of ten years old was hit by a Toyota Yaris and killed on Lansdowne Road between Symphony Way and Stock road in Phillipi earlier this morning.
“It is believed that the girl was on her way to school when she was hit by the car that was travelling towards Stock Road. The girl was declared dead on arrival by emergency services on the scene,” said ER24’s Tristan Wadely
SAPS and Metro police were in attendance and will be investigating the incident.
