Ant-crime operation arrested 150 people over the weekend

The Cape Town police were busy over the weekend with raids and roadblocks. The anti-crime operation was carried throughout Cape Town.

The anti-crime operations started in Woodstock where police arrested 40 people. In the Mitchell’s Plain area about 100 people were arrested.

The crimes range from selling drugs, housebreaking and illegal fire arm possessions.

 Some people were arrested for unpaid traffic fines. There were also those arrested for car theft and stolen goods. The suspects will appear in court this afternoon.
