Netcare 911 paramedics this morning attended to an accident scene on the N1 southbound in Midrand whereby a motorcyclist was left in critical condition.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann
said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found a 52-year-old man in a
critical condition after a light delivery vehicle and a motorcycle collided.
“The Netcare One helicopter was activated
to airlift the critically injured motorcyclist to hospital for the urgent
medical care that he required” Steinmann added.
The exact details of the cause of the
accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
