MEC of Health launched the Mitchell's Plain Community Centre

Western Cape MEC of Health Theuns Botha is today expected to launch the Mitchell’s Plain Community Centre. 

District Health Services and Programmes Spokesperson Sithembiso Magubane said the aim of this launch is to highlight and address the mistreatment experienced by women in maternity services.

Magubane said this is done to highlight and deal mistreatment experienced by women during labour.

He added that the department is trying to show that women are the cornerstones and give utmost care to unborn babies.
