The Portfolio Committee on Labour has called for patience in regards with discussions on the national minimum wage.

Several labour representatives have voiced their dissatisfaction that discussion on the national wage has been ongoing for a long time.

Committee Chairperson Lumka Yengeni said the decision that is made concerning this issue will affect the lives of the most vulnerable and weakest in society.

Yengeni said all the stakeholders should be patient and listen to each other because we are not in the season as yet therefore is it important that we listen to one another.
