Unlucky evening to a man who stopped his car to assist
someone who hopped in front of his vehicle and claimed his car has broken down
on the road.
A man of 43 year-old who was driving back from his friend
house jerked by robbers gun pointed to his head
and was hijacked near Hermanus, the victim was forced into the boot of his
vehicle. According to IOL, he was tied up, choked with rope then
later somewhere in the bushes told to flee if he still wanted to live. The man
was found with bruises on his neck and hands and taken to the hospital for
treatment. A burnt-out vehicle, which has
yet to be identified, was later discovered in Hawston.

confirmed on Monday that the 43-year-old man was on his way home from a
friend’s house in Sandbaai. When he saw a vehicle that broke down, “A male
person jumped into the road” and the complainant stopped to assist. The suspect
pulled out a firearm and pointed it against the victim's head. The suspect
instructed the complainant to get into boot of his vehicle, drove him to
Kleinmond where they tied, choked him up with a rope. Die Burger also report

No arrest has been made yet by time of
