Suspect connected to New Monwabisi Park murders arrested in Eastern Cape

Western Cape police, with the assistance of Lady Frere SAPS in the Eastern Cape, arrested a 29 year man in Lower Lufuta, Cala, Eastern Cape, on Sunday.

The suspect is linked with the murder of the five people who were shot and killed in New Monwabisi Park, Harare, Khayelitsha on 13 March 2022.

He is expected to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrates court on Tuesday.

‘’A third suspect is believed to have been involved in this matter and the Provincial Organise Crime investigators are still searching for him,’’ said Captain FC van Wyk.
