Western Cape police are investigating an apparent gas tank explosion in Redberry Street, Bonteheuwel that occurred on Tuesday.

‘’Bishop Lavis police responded to the complaint at around
4 o’clock the afternoon and found structural damages to the roof and walls of
the house. We can confirm that six victims between the ages of 2 and 45, who
sustained minor injuries were transported to a nearby hospital for medical
treatment,’’ said Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi, Western Cape SAPS
spokesperson.
