Mayoral Committee Member for Utility Services, Councillor Clive Justus, has officially opened the Athlone Refuse Transfer Station’s Educational Resource Centre in Athlone.
Lesle Brown from the City of Cape Town said the visit to the ARTS is recommended for learners from Grade 4 and up and all school groups must be under adult supervision.
“Staff at the facility will provide guided tours to explain how the way management system works”
The City of Cape Town says that the tour groups will be limited to 30 individuals.
