Atmosphere outside of parliament mellow

As today marks the opening of parliament, time draws closer for President Kgalema Motlanthe to stand before Members of Parliament and South Africans to give this year’s State of the Nation Address.

Nothing much is happening at moment outside of parliament, but people are beginning to arrive such as South African designer Gavin Raja, however no VIP guests have yet arrived. According to Mikhaila there is however a much heavier police presence both inside and outside of parliament, says Bush Radio reporter Mikhaila Crowie
