The Bellville police are looking for three suspects who allegedly robbed a Stikland railway station on Tuesday.
Bellville police spokesperson Captain Fienie Nimb said the incident took place when station manager of the Stikland railway station opened the ticket office.
He was approached by three armed men who forced him to open the safe, the person who wanted to buy a ticket saw what was happening alerted the police.
The suspects ran away and they were chased by security where a shot was fired but “not one was injured’ said captain Nimb.
The three suspects fled away in white vehicle with R3000 thousand rand cash.
