Nyanga police are requesting the assistance of the public with regards to a murder that happened in Samora Machel after shop assistant was shot and fatally wounded.
Police spokesperson Captain Ntomboxolo Sitshitshi says it is alleged that the 38 year old man had just finished attending to a delivery van when a suspect came and pretend to be a customer.
“When he was about to help the suspect, a second suspect entered the door and shot the shop assistant on the left side of his chest. The suspects then fled the crime scene,” said Sitshitshi.
