Public assistance required in Khayelitsha

Lingelethu West Police are requesting the assistance of the public in a murder investigation which occurred in Khayelitsha on Sunday.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Siphokazi Mawisa says the victim was found lying on the corners of Msuthwana and Mafunka Street, H-Block in Khayelitsha with serious head injuries.

“He was taken to hospital where he later died due to the injuries he sustained. A case of murder was opened for investigation,” said Mawisa.
