Suspects arrested for stealing dangerous equipment

Two suspects aged 21 and 33-years-old were arrested for alleged theft of two Tractor-Loader-Backhoe with a combined estimate value of R3 million. 

Lieutenant General Solomon Makgale said police found one of the TLB’s at a house in Pretoria whilst the second was found hidden at a house meters from the first property. 

The TLB are known as earth moving equipment which could be dangerous.

Makgale said police suspect that this equipment was intended for markets outside of South Africa.

“Currently we are busy with our investigation and following up on additional information that we have received” Makgale added.
