Nosey Peterse said it is ironic that the policy designed to strengthen tenure
rights for farmworkers are now the cause of farmworkers loosing those very same
rights.
Peterse said we have seen an
escalation of evictions.
Petersen also said this is
not good more especially for the elderly and the people with disability.
“We call on the Minister to
withdraw policy or place on evictions” added Petersen.
