Body of 84-year-old fisherman recovered in Lamberts Bay

The National Sea Rescue Institute in Lamberts Bay has confirmed that the body of an 84-year-old fisherman who went missing on Friday was located and recovered on Sunday. 

NSRI Spokesperson Criag Lambinon said the search for the body was an ongoing operation since he was reported missing. 

Lambinon said it is believed that the missing fisherman was not wearing a life jacket.

“Sincerest condolences have been extended to family,Police have opened an inquest docket Lambinon added.
