The Universal Services and Access Agency of South Africa has suspended one of its senior staff member for corruption and maladministration.

USAASA’s Khulelani Mtshangase said allegations against this staff member border on Financial Misconduct which is a very serious offence.

The senior staff member has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.

Mtshangase said as this agency we take this issue very seriously that is why we took the decision for the member to be put on precautionary suspension.

“It can never be correct that one of our own is accused of stealing and using people’s names for their own agenda and on top of all of that using our equipment to produce pornography” Mtshangase added.
