A fire which broke out at a
residence in Ottery Road in Wynberg this morning has left one person dead and
three others injured.

Meiring said when they arrived on the scene they found three men lying on the
pavement next to the burning residence.
Meiring said paramedics
assessed the men and found that two of them had sustained severe burn injuries
to most of their bodies, and the third one had sustained moderate injuries to
his back.
“While fire services were busy
extinguishing the blaze, paramedics found that a woman had sadly lost life in the
fire” Meiring added.
